Rodger Davis
Education & Training Workgroup |
Rodgers’ interest in massage was founded in 2002 and he qualified as a sports massage practitioner in 2004. He had previously accumulated a wealth of knowledge through many years experience as a partner in architectural private practice and managing director of an associated construction company. He retains a part time interest in architectural practice.
Rodger was elected to the board of the Sports Massage Association (SMA) in 2006 and through progressive development in the aims and direction of the Association was elected chair in 2009. The pathway is sometimes complex but the aims of the SMA are simple; to provide the best possible professional association for the benefit of sports massage practitioners.
His work as a sports massage practitioner and an innate understanding of structural principles stimulated an interest in postural improvement and balance and Rodger has completed the full KMI myofascial/structural integration course. He is included in the register of the International Association of Structural Integrators (IASI) and pleased to have added this work to his private practice.
